About Pea
Pea makes small, free tools that run in the browser. We started with one problem, knowing a contact’s local time before calling them, and we have been adding tools around the same account since.
Where Pea came from
Pea began as Verileads, which built the first version of Parse for sales teams that kept calling West Coast leads before breakfast. Parse is still the main product, and the name changed to Pea so it could cover more than one tool.
Paste followed because people kept sending passwords through email and chat, where they stay for years. Contacts came next, for the people who save numbers from web pages all day and wanted an address book that nobody else could read.
How we build
Every Pea tool has a free tier that covers normal use without a card. Where a tool handles private data, we encrypt it on your device before it reaches us, so the protection doesn’t depend on trusting our servers. We keep each tool focused on one job, and we write in plain language about what each one sends to us.
Parse is published under the pea.dev name as a verified publisher on the Chrome Web Store.
